Founders Cup Icebreaker Fundraiser!
Dear Columbia Men’s Lacrosse alumni and friends,
Thank you again for your support of our team! We hope you are all staying warm amid the recent extreme cold, snow and ice! Your Lions' season opener against Worcester State has been postponed from February 7 due to the weather conditions and will be made up in late March. Columbia has not announced an opening date for Wien Stadium and additional game postponements are possible as long as the ground remains snow-covered.
Make It 8 has identified an indoor turf facility in Scranton, Pennsylvania that can host Columbia's Founders' Cup contests against Penn, Princeton and Cornell on Sunday, March 1. If we raise $4,000 by Saturday, February 7 we can ensure that:
1) Your Lions launch their quest for a second Founders' Cup title without fear of winter weather postponements.
2) The team can play a historic game against Cornell, its first since 1910!
3) You receive more action shots like the one below!
