Welcome to
Make It 8!

Welcome to the Columbia Lions Men's Lacrosse history page!  Here you will find game records and photos for one of the oldest club sports at Columbia, dating back to 1881. The current edition of the club was founded in 1963 and has won numerous accolades, including six division titles and one national championship.

Founded in 2018, Make It 8 is an assembled group of Columbia Men’s Lacrosse Club alumni who want to cultivate interest and support for the Columbia Men’s Lacrosse Club, and to develop it into an Ivy League varsity team.

I spent...four years [1993-96] playing the game I love with a group of guys that continue to be some of my closest friends.

All the work that the Make It 8 Board is doing is tremendous. Can’t imagine how helpful an organization like this would have been if it existed when I was playing.
